Man sentenced to 7 years in prison for sexually abusing child in Wilton

A former Saratoga County man was sentenced to seven years in prison Wednesday for sexually abusing a child.

Timothy Perkins, 36, was arrested for the incident at a home in Wilton in June 2023.

In April, he pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse.

Perkins, who now lives in Kentucky, will also have to serve 20 years of probation after release.
