Police investigate suspected murder-suicide in Marshall Township

MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) – Allegheny County Police are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in Marshall Township.

Allegheny County Police said officers were notified of a homicide on Spang Road shortly after 9 p.m.

When officers from the Northern Regional Police Department arrived at the scene, they found an 80-year-old woman and an 81-year-old man, both of whom had been shot.

According to police, the man apparently shot his wife before calling 911 and then shooting himself.

None of the people have been identified yet.

Detectives from the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit are in charge of the investigation into the apparent murder-suicide.
