Seattle police investigate shooting near WA park

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday morning near Seward Park.

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) reported that the incident occurred in the 5800 block of Lake Washington Blvd. S, near the entrance to Seward Park.

Officers at the scene collected evidence, including several 9mm cartridge cases.

No injuries were reported and the suspects, who fled the scene in a vehicle, have not yet been located.

The investigation is being led by investigators from the SPD’s Gun Violence Reduction Unit.
