1 person arrested after police pursuit ends in northeast Oklahoma City

According to police, a person was arrested following a chase in northeast Oklahoma City on Thursday morning.

Oklahoma City police said that around 5:40 a.m., an officer attempted to stop a driver for a traffic violation on eastbound Interstate 40 near the Interstate 35 interchange, after which the driver attempted to flee.

According to OCPD, the pursuing officer was able to end the pursuit by initiating a tactical maneuver against the fleeing vehicle on I-35 near Northeast 10th Street.

The driver was taken into custody, but his name was not released.
