Houston Texans 2024 training camp practices are open to fans throughout July and August, including a joint session with the Los Angeles Rams

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The Houston Texans will open eight training camps to fans in July and August, giving the AFC South champion faithful a glimpse of CJ Stroud, Stefon Diggs and company.

The team announced that the first open practice would take place on Tuesday, July 23 at 9 a.m., more than a week before the Texans’ preseason kickoff against the Chicago Bears in Canton, Ohio.

The Houston-Chicago match in the Hall of Fame Game will take place on Thursday, August 1, but the team said it will hold practices away from the Bayou City after the game and before facing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Friday, August 9.

According to the team, Huntington Valley, Ohio, outside of Cleveland, will host the Texans’ practices Aug. 5-7.

Additionally, the Texans and Los Angeles Rams will hold a joint practice on Thursday, August 22, two days before the teams face off at NRG Stadium for Houston’s final preseason game.

Texans training camp officially opens Thursday, July 18 with a closed practice session.

The team said all fans can claim free tickets to practices starting Thursday, June 20 at 10 a.m. until Ticketmaster.com.

There will be a limited number of tickets available daily and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. Subscribers will receive an email with more details about their registration.
