Buffalo Council approves ballot measure for lodging tax increase – Sheridan Media

At its regular meeting Tuesday, the Buffalo City Council approved a resolution that will give the city’s blessing to vote in the November general election to increase the countywide lodging tax by 2 percent. compared to its current level of 5%.

Mayor Shane Schrader and Johnson County Tourism Association Board President Jody Sauers discussed the proposal during the meeting.
