Drug investigations lead to the arrest of two people and the discovery of drugs worth over $25,000

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Georgia (WRBL) – The Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office is sending a message to locals: “We won’t stop until they stop” after two people were arrested in a drug investigation that uncovered drugs, firearms and over $13,000 in cash.

According to the sheriff’s office, the special unit executed search warrants for two homes on Tuesday as part of a drug investigation.


During the search of both locations, the authorities seized the following evidence:

  • 4.4 pounds of marijuana valued at $19,888
  • 126 grams of psilocybin mushrooms worth $1,512
  • 160 packages of THC edibles valued at $3,200
  • 24 disposable THC pens valued at $1,056
  • Eight firearms (one reported stolen)
  • $13,020 in cash
  • Two vehicles

Authorities also arrested Zoeie Thomas and Dequan Aldridge following the investigation and booked them into the Muscogee County Jail. Thomas and Aldridge are charged with:

Thomas –

  • Aggravated possession of marijuana with intent to resell
  • Serious possession of THC with intent to distribute
  • Two counts of serious possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime
  • Serious possession of psilocybin

Aldridge –

  • Arrest warrant for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
  • Aggravated possession of marijuana with intent to resell
  • Eight cases of serious possession of weapons during the commission of a crime
  • Aggravated theft by receiving stolen goods (firearm)
  • Heavy trafficking in psilocybin
  • Obstructing a police officer
  • Possession of drug-related items.
