Dust Devil interrupts baseball game in suburban Buffalo

A massive dust devil interrupted a baseball game in the Buffalo suburb of Tonawanda, New York, on Sunday, June 16.

Footage from Justin Demmin shows people fleeing a baseball field in Ives Park as the swirling dust devil kicked up dirt from the ground.

“It’s a big dust devil!” Look how high it goes! Demmin exclaimed while filming the video.

According to Demmin, the dust devil interrupted two baseball games and lifted “three unanchored tents about 20 feet into the air” before dissipating. Credit: Justin Demmin via Storyful
