Houston Developer Invests More Than $15 Million in Uptown Skyscraper Renovation

A Houston developer will invest more than $15 million in renovating a 21-story skyscraper in downtown Dallas.

Vero Sade unveiled work Wednesday on 3700M, a 381-unit luxury property located at 3700 McKinney Ave. Work is focused around the resort’s seventh floor – a 6,700 square foot amenity level that includes a rooftop pool with cabanas and summer kitchens, an all-day cafe, a yoga studio, a 24/7 fitness center and an outdoor terrace. for fitness programs.

As part of the work, the building’s lobby was transformed into a two-story, 6,000 square foot multi-use space for residents and the general public. The venue serves as an event space as well as a coworking space with private offices for rent.

The tower apartments are also being renovated and work continues.

Vero Sade offers studio, one- and two-bedroom homes ranging from 562 to 1,475 square feet. The open-plan living spaces feature oak floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. In the kitchens, you’ll find built-in pantries, light wood cabinets, quartz countertops, and upgraded stainless steel appliances.

Other features include spa-like bathtubs and walk-in closets. Some units have a balcony or patio. About 10 of the property’s one-bedroom apartments are reserved for short-term renters, meaning those looking for a place to stay for at least a week.

Véro Sade has already completed work on 91 housing units and plans to renovate all the apartments. Studios start at $2,200, and two-bedrooms with stunning views of Dallas start at $4,000, a company representative said. The Dallas Morning News.

3700M is pet-friendly with a recently unveiled dog play area, and the skyscraper also has electric vehicle charging stations. The property was built in 2014.

The project’s redesign was led by Good City Studio, a Philadelphia-based design boutique whose work includes a mix of high-profile multifamily properties, private clubs and hotels.
