OHP: Teenager killed in accident on Tuesday morning | News

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 15-year-old was killed after an accident Tuesday morning in northern Pittsburg County.

According to the OHP report, the accident occurred around 7:56 a.m. Tuesday on Lone Oak Road near Indianola in Pittsburg County.

According to the police report, the 15-year-old boy was driving a 2003 Ford pickup truck eastbound on Lone Oak Road when, for an unknown reason, he left the right side of the road. The truck rolled twice and the boy was ejected.

According to the report, the 15-year-old was declared dead by emergency services at the scene of the accident. There were no other passengers in the car.

OHP is currently working to determine the cause of the accident.
