Senator John Fetterman involved in car accident in Maryland

Senator John Fetterman (D-Penn.) and his wife were involved in a two-car crash on Interstate 70 in Maryland on Sunday morning, Maryland State Police (MSP) confirmed. The incident occurred near the intersection with Interstate 68. According to MSP, Fetterman’s car collided with another vehicle from behind as both were traveling west on I-70.

Following the collision, a passenger in Fetterman’s vehicle and the driver of the other car were taken to a West Virginia hospital for treatment. Senator Fetterman was treated for a shoulder contusion and released that same afternoon. No citations were issued in connection with the accident.
