Louisiana State Police issues Silver Alert for 70-year-old man

MONROE, Louisiana (KTAL/KMSS) – The Louisiana State Police, on behalf of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office, have issued a Silver Alert for 70-year-old Selma Lollie.

According to the press release, Lollie suffers from a medical condition that impairs his judgment and has a history of often getting lost. He was last seen on June 8, 2024, at 804 S. 19th St. in Monroe.


According to Louisiana State Police, a neighbor noticed Lollie was missing at about 11:14 a.m.

According to LSP, Lollie is a black male with gray hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’9″ tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

They believe Lollie is on foot and is wearing a “Pug Shot” shirt (which features a pug holding a mugshot board), gray and white checked pajama pants, and tan shoes.

Anyone with information on Lollie’s whereabouts should immediately contact the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office at 318-329-1200 or call 911.
