Lighthouse Guild Names Jamie Ridout as New Director of Buffalo GuildCare

(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Jamie Ridout has been named director of GuildCare in Buffalo. GuildCare, a division of Lighthouse Guild, is New York State’s only adult day health care program specializing in services for people with vision loss and provides services in Buffalo, Albany, Niagara Falls and Manhattan.

Ms. Ridout will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall management of Buffalo GuildCare. She has extensive experience in adult day health care, most recently serving as the rehabilitation manager at the SchofieldCare adult day health care program in Buffalo. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Daemen College in Amherst, New York.

GuildCare offers a wide range of services including nursing care, medication management, diabetes care, physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy, social work services, nutritional counseling, vision rehabilitation, activities therapy, morning snacks and lunch. Services and activities are specially designed and adapted for people with all levels of disabilities – physical, cognitive and visual. You do not have to be blind to qualify for GuildCare programs.
