Ryan Garcia arrested for vandalism at a Beverly Hills hotel

According to Beverly Hills police, boxer Ryan Garcia was arrested on Saturday at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Beverly Hills for vandalism.

According to Lt. Chris Coulter, a hotel representative said Garcia’s initial estimate was more than $15,000 in damage.

Under California law, vandalism can be prosecuted as a felony if the damage exceeds $400.

According to Coulter, police responded to a call from the hotel, arrested Garcia around 8:45 p.m. ET and took him to the police station.

Coulter said Garcia, 25, had “medical issues” and was taken to a hospital where he was released. Coulter said he had no further information on the medical issues.
