Florida man arrested for pointing gun at cyclist during driving aggression incident

A 55-year-old man was arrested after a road rage incident escalated with the drawing of a firearm. According to Naples police, the victim was riding his bicycle in the area of ​​2400 Gordon Drive on Tuesday when an argument broke out with a man driving an SUV. The driver of the vehicle reportedly escalated the argument by pointing a firearm at the victim before fleeing. Police were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and identified the man as Robert Francis Stoico Jr. Naples police also said they recovered a loaded Glock 19 9mm handgun from his vehicle. Stoico Jr. was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly escalated the argument by pointing a firearm at the victim before fleeing.

Police were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle and identified the man as Robert Francis Stoico Jr. The NPD also said they found a loaded 9mm Glock 19 pistol in his vehicle.

During a traffic stop, police found a loaded handgun in Stoico Jr.'s vehicle.

Stoico Jr. was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and taken to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office Jail.
