Man found dead with gunshot wound after car crashes on ramp from Beltway 8 to IH-45

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man was found dead in a crashed car in northern Harris County. Police said he had an apparent gunshot wound.

It happened on the connector ramp between the westbound lanes of the Sam Houston Tollway and IH-45. Officers from Harris County’s 4th Precinct arrived on the scene after a vehicle crashed into the ramp wall.

When officers approached the vehicle, they found a dead man inside with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The connecting ramp is completely closed and investigations are ongoing. Police are asking people to avoid the area.
