Clarendon man charged with raping and kidnapping woman | News

Police in Clarendon have charged a 50-year-old man for allegedly raping and throwing stones at a woman as she fled his home.

Delroy Buckley, also known as ‘Bigga’, a street trader from Havanah Heights in Denbigh, is accused of false imprisonment, rape and assault.

A date for his trial is to be set.

According to the police report, Buckley asked the woman to come to his home in Clarendon on Tuesday, February 13, to collect the money he owed her.

When Buckley arrived at his home, he allegedly locked the woman in the apartment and allegedly sexually abused her.

While the woman was fleeing the house, police say Buckley threw several rocks at her, hitting her.

She reported the incident to the police, who began searching for Buckley.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.
