Man arrested in fatal shooting in Clackamas Co

CLACKAMAS COUNTY Ore. (KPTV) – A Milwaukie man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with a shooting last week, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Cody James Denewith, 26, was arrested Monday. Nathan Dean Anderson, a 25-year-old Oregon City man, was shot the night of April 29 in the area of ​​SE 90th Avenue and SE St. Helens Street in unincorporated Clackamas County.

Investigators determined that Denewith and Anderson knew each other, which led to Denewith being named as a suspect and ultimately arrested.

A man was shot and killed in Northeast Portland early Sunday morning, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
