Surveillance footage shows man wanted for East Falls burglaries, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police are searching for a man wanted in connection with multiple break-ins and thefts throughout the city’s East Falls neighborhood after he was caught on surveillance video following a home invasion robbery earlier this month.

According to law enforcement, the footage is from an incident that occurred at a home at 3300 Cresswell Street at approximately 9:40 p.m. on May 7. Officials said the footage, which they posted online, is from a home that was burglarized.

According to police, a woman provided this footage after returning home from vacation on May 20 and finding “things missing from her house.”

A review of surveillance footage from her home revealed images of a man wearing a baseball cap and a light-colored backpack loading items stolen from the home onto a bicycle and fleeing the area, officials said.

Police suspect the man may be connected to other recent burglaries and thefts that have occurred in the East Falls community.

Police officers described the man as having a beard and tattoos on both arms, including one that read “Irish” on his right forearm, and a teardrop tattoo under his right eye.

Police are asking anyone with tips or information about the person seen in this footage to call or text Philadelphia Police at 215.686.TIPS (8477).

Officials said all information would be treated confidentially.
