Police investigate shooting on Murray Street

ROCHESTER, NY — Rochester police responded to at least two stabbings and a shooting in Rochester Friday night.

They say the shooting happened around midnight on Murray Street near Lyell Avenue.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is being treated for life-threatening injuries. He was in critical but stable condition as of 10:30 p.m., according to police.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated. No suspects are in custody.
