2 dead in separate shootings in Delaware County

Collingdale police said the teenager shot Friday afternoon in the 100 block of Lafayette Avenue died a short time after the shooting, and East Lansdowne police are reporting a shooting homicide overnight after a fight broke out at a bar.

In Collingdale, officers located two victims just before 4:30 p.m. A juvenile male suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. A second juvenile male suffered a gunshot wound to the foot.

Both were transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center, where the first juvenile was pronounced dead in the emergency room.

Police said they would not release the names of the two teenagers.

In East Lansdowne, a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest at the corner of Baltimore Avenue and Penn Boulevard around 2:30 a.m. Saturday after a fight spilled from a corner bar onto the street, according to police.
