Red Bull was fined over the Perez Imola incident

Red Bull was fined €1,000 by Emilia Romagna Grand Prix stewards after Sergio Perez was speeding in the Imola pitlane.

With a speed limit of 80 km/h (49.7 mph) in effect for the weekend, Perez was clocked at 88.9 km/h (55.2 mph), exceeding the limit by 8.9 km/h (5. 5 mph).

For this, Red Bull was fined by the sports commissioners for violating Article 34.7 of the sports regulations.

Perez finished practice in fourth place, 0.007 seconds ahead of his teammate Max Verstappen, who struggled for grip and balance in the RB20 and went off the track several times, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was at the front in the first hour of practice.
