Mississippi man out on bond for Mobile murder was arrested for alleged bail violation

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A Moss Point, Miss., man facing a murder charge has been arrested for allegedly violating the conditions of his bail.

Kolby Street is accused of shooting 17-year-old Jalon Gallery on Sumner Drive in Mobile in 2021. He was out on bond waiting for a mental health treatment slot to open up at the Taylor Hardin Secure Medical Facility in Tuscaloosa so he could stand trial.

Prosecutors asked for his bail to be revoked after Pascagoula police arrested him on burglary charges in March.

Street will hold a bond revocation hearing within 72 hours.
