SPEEDO ATLANTA CLASSIC 2024

The first preliminary session of the 2024 Atlanta Classic is scheduled to feature heats of the women’s and men’s 100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 200 fly and women’s 400 freestyle at the McAuley Aquatic Center.

from Tennessee Erika Connolly (formerly Brown) leads a competitive women’s 100 freestyle, featuring Team Florida Izzy Ivey sitting as the No. 3 seed, while Florida Alberto Mestre currently leads the top seeds in the men’s preliminaries. Ireland Mona McSharry enters the women’s 100m breaststroke as top seed while the Lithuanian Aleksas Savickas takes the lead in the men’s preliminary round.

Veteran Leah Gingrich has the upper hand in the women’s 200 fly, just like Austria Martin Espernberger on the men’s side. In the 400 free series, the Olympic champions and Florida/Anthony Nesty interns Katie Ledecky And Kieran Smith hold the women’s and men’s seeds respectively. The remaining top nine qualifiers all finished under 56 seconds, led by Camille Spink at 55:44 with Gabby DeLoofThe No. 6 seed of 55.64.
