Devils to participate in 2024 rookie tournament | BLOG

The Devils will once again participate in the annual rookie tournament in Buffalo in mid-September. The 2024 Prosects Challenge will take place Friday, September 13 through Monday, September 16 at LECOM Harborcenter in Buffalo.

The Devils will play three games. They will face Ottawa on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The Devils will face the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night at 7 p.m. New Jersey will close out the tournament on Monday against Boston at 10 a.m. ET.

The tournament will be streamed live on the Devils website and social media with Devils Radio Network commentator Matt Loughlin and color analyst Sam Kasan.

Among those expected to make the roster are defensemen Seamus Casey, Topias Vilen and Mikeal Diotte as well as forwards Josh Filmon, Chase Stillman, Cam Squires and Dylan Wendt.

Participating teams include New Jersey, Buffalo, Boston, Pittsburgh, Ottawa and Columbus.

This will be the ninth year for the tournament, which began in 2015. New Jersey has participated every year.
