Man arrested with 30 pounds of marijuana in his car | News

TREMPEALEAU COUNTY (WQOW) – A man was arrested in Trempealeau County with 30 pounds of marijuana in his car.

On Saturday, a man was stopped by a Trempealeau County Sheriff’s deputy on Interstate 94 near mile marker 88 in the town of Sumner.

The driver, Danny Reynold of New Hope, Minnesota, showed signs of criminal activity, so they deployed their sniffer dog Luke to assess the situation. The car was then searched, where the officer found two duffel bags containing suspected marijuana and a pound of meth and other drug-related items.

Danny was subsequently arrested and taken to the Trempealeau County Jail on numerous drug charges.
