Driving aggression incident in South Hero, Vermont – NECN

A 75-year-old man allegedly attacked a 20-year-old in a road rage incident in South Hero, Vermont, on Saturday evening.

State police said they received a report of a possible robbery that occurred on Route 2 at Ferry Road around 5:25 p.m.

Their investigation revealed that during an incident of road rage, Jack Deforge got out of his vehicle and attacked Ryan Recore in the middle of the road.

Recore, of Plattsburgh, New York, was examined by emergency medical services for minor injuries, state police said.

Deforge, of Grand Isle, Vermont, was issued a summons to appear in Grand Isle County Superior Court on Aug. 22 on charges of simple assault and disturbing the peace. It was not immediately clear whether he had retained an attorney.
