Man charged in fatal 2021 Hellshire attack | News

Marlan Wilson, 28, also known as “Jordon,” of Hellshire, St. Catherine, has been charged with the murder of a man in the parish in 2021.

Wilson is accused of murdering 41-year-old Charles Martell of Hellshire Drive.

According to Hellshire Police reports, Wilson and four other individuals attacked Martell at his home on Monday, January 10, 2021, at approximately 7:15 p.m., causing numerous wounds to his upper body. The two were all armed with machetes, knives, boards and ice picks.

He was taken to the hospital by junior doctors and admitted there.

On Friday, March 26, 2021, Martell succumbed to his injuries.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, Wilson was involved in a domestic dispute that led to his arrest by police.

He was later charged with this crime in the presence of his lawyer.

A court date is currently being set.
