Police are searching for a man who repeatedly rammed a car at an Alabama gas station

Police are searching for the person who was filmed ramming a vehicle at a Tarrant gas station. On April 17, officers responded to the Shell gas station at 2525 Pinson Valley Parkway to reports of a man repeatedly ramming his vehicle into another and almost running someone over, according to Tarrant police. When police arrived at the scene, they found four damaged vehicles and showed the following security footage capturing part of the incident: Witnesses identified the driver as Tony Marvell Murray and he told police he was in a yellow box truck belonging to the person whose vehicle Murray was rammed and fled the scene. The truck was later found abandoned in Birmingham. According to police, the incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance at a nearby business. Murray is currently charged with five felonies: Two counts of attempted murder (Class A felony). Police are searching for the person who was caught on camera ramming a vehicle at a petrol station in Tarrant.

According to Tarrant police, officers responded to the Shell station at 2525 Pinson Valley Parkway on April 17 after a report that a man had repeatedly rammed his vehicle into another and almost hit someone.

When police arrived at the scene, they found four damaged vehicles and were shown the following security footage, which captured part of the incident:

Witnesses identified the driver as Tony Marvell Murray and told police that he fled the scene in a yellow box truck belonging to the person whose vehicle Murray struck. The truck was later found abandoned in Birmingham.

According to police, the incident stemmed from a domestic disturbance at a nearby business.

Murray is currently charged with five crimes:

  • Two counts of attempted murder (Class A felony)
  • Domestic Violence in the Second Degree (Class B Felony)
  • Theft of Property in the First Degree (Class B Felony – Vehicle Theft)
  • Leaving the scene of an accident with injuries (Class C felony)
