Major police investigation underway in Jamaica Plain – Boston News, Weather, Sports

BOSTON (WHDH) – An extensive police investigation is underway near the Forest Hills MBTA station in Jamaica Plain.

Shortly before 9 p.m., investigators searched a section of Hyde Park Avenue between Ukraine Way and Arborway.

Police placed several evidence markers in a nearby parking lot.

Officials on the scene include Boston Police, Massachusetts State Police and Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden.

There was initially no information available about the incident.
