Sacramento police arrest two people in fatal shooting in Greenhaven

(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento police have arrested two Sacramento men after identifying them as those responsible for a fatal shooting April 29 in the Greenhaven neighborhood.

Police said Taquez Foster-Worsham, 24, of Sacramento, and Jamar Anderson, 28, of Sacramento, were arrested on July 10 and July 17, respectively. Both men are charged with robbery and manslaughter.

On April 29, around 3 a.m., Sacramento police say they were called back to Riverside Boulevard after a report that a man had been shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound, attempted to render medical aid, and transported the man to the hospital.

At the hospital, medical staff said he had succumbed to his injuries.

Police did not disclose where Foster-Worsham was arrested, but said Anderson was arrested in Indio, about 25 miles southeast of Palm Springs in Southern California.

“Our investigators have worked tirelessly to help the family find justice in this case,” Sacramento police said.
