Clarksville man arrested for alleged assault in college dormitory for rape

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Indiana State Police have arrested a Clarksville man on rape charges stemming from an alleged attack in a Hanover College dorm room in the fall of 2023.

ISP said its investigation began in September. Jackson Kruer, 22, and a female student left a party on campus together and went back to the woman’s dorm room, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her. Kruer left and the woman immediately reported the assault to campus security.

Following an investigation by the ISP, Jackson Kruer was arrested in Clark County on Tuesday and taken to the Jefferson County Jail in Indiana on charges of rape.
