One dead in traffic accident in Bryan | KWKT

BRYAN, Texas (FOX 44) – One person is dead in a fatal traffic accident in Bryan.

Bryan police and fire departments responded to a serious crash in the 1900 block of N Harvey Mitchell Parkway on Wednesday. All northbound and southbound lanes were closed and the public was asked to avoid the area.

Police later issued an update saying the N Harvey Mitchell Parkway from Sandy Point Road to Highway 21 was closed due to a fatal traffic accident.

The N Harvey Mitchell Parkway reopened to the public Wednesday evening.
