Accident blocks traffic on Interstate 540 in Fort Smith near Kelley Highway

FORT SMITH, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) — TO UPDATE: ARDOT cameras show that the accident scene has been cleared and traffic is flowing again on Interstate 540.

FORT SMITH, Arkansas (KNWA/KFTA) – An accident on Interstate 540 blocks traffic in Fort Smith on July 8.

According to the Arkansas Department of Transportation, the accident occurred at Exit 5 near the northbound Kelley Highway.

ARDOT reports that the accident affected all lanes and that there were no injuries.
