Two dead and several injured in drive-by shooting in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida. – Authorities in Broward County rushed to the scene of a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred Monday evening.

It happened just before 8 p.m. near the 700 block of Northwest 10th Terrace in Fort Lauderdale.

According to police, a total of six people were shot, including a child.

Two people, a man and a woman, were pronounced dead as a result of the shooting, police said.

The surviving victims were taken to a Broward Health System hospital for treatment, police said.

Authorities have not said whether they are looking for suspects or persons of interest or whether they are looking for specific vehicle makes, models or colors.
