VSP completes investigation into hate-motivated burglary in Northeast Kingdom

Vermont State Police have found the individuals who broke into and vandalized a home in Northeast Kingdom on Saturday afternoon. VSP said officers received a report of the incident just before 12:45 p.m. According to officers, a home on Caswell Avenue in the village of Derby Line was broken into, robbed and vandalized. Racial slurs were reportedly written on the walls inside the home. Police said today the investigation has been closed, but due to the age of the suspects, no further information would be released.

According to authorities, a home on Caswell Avenue in the village of Derby Line was broken into, robbed and vandalized.

According to reports, the interior walls of the house were painted with racist slurs.

Police said today that the investigation had been closed but that no further information would be released due to the age of the suspects.
