Investigations underway after police called jewelers in shopping center

An investigation is underway following a robbery at a jewelry store in Middleton.

This morning (June 13), police officers were photographed outside the Middleton Shopping Centre. Witnesses reported that a window at Harveys The Jewellers had been smashed.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed that officers were called to a robbery at a jewellery store at around 11am, but no arrests have been made so far.

The investigation into the robbery is ongoing. Officers are asking all witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.

In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: “This morning (Thursday 13 June 2024) we were called to a robbery at a commercial premises in Middleton Shopping Centre at around 11am. No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.”
