St. Paul Police Investigate Murder in Como District

St. Paul police are investigating a homicide that occurred Friday morning in the Como neighborhood.

At around 7:30 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 900 block of Hatch Avenue after a 911 caller reported that someone was dead. When police arrived, they spoke with the caller, who said a woman approached her and said that someone was dead inside the home.

Officers entered the home and found a man who was not conscious or breathing. Paramedics from the St. Paul Fire Department responded to the scene but pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Investigators are currently interviewing the woman who originally reported the body and are trying to determine the circumstances of the man’s death. Police say no one has been arrested yet.

The Ramsey County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy and determine the victim and cause of death.

This is the 14th murder this year in St. Paul.
