Roads flooded in metro Atlanta after heavy rains

Some roads in the metropolis are flooded after heavy rains.

ATLANTA — It’s a rare sight for residents of metro Atlanta these days: rain falling from the sky! Some areas have been experiencing dry conditions, so the rain is welcome.

With the strong storm line moving through the region, flooding has been reported on roads.

We received the following photos of flooding on Atlanta Road in Smyrna after heavy rain from isolated thunderstorms caused flash flooding.
