2 dead, 1 on life support after “incident” at Lincoln County home

LINCOLN COUNTY, NC — One person is in custody after two people were found dead in a Lincoln County home Wednesday, officials said.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident at a home on Springs East Road, just off Buffalo Shoals Road, early Wednesday morning. When officers arrived, they found two people dead inside the home. A third victim was taken to a Gastonia hospital where he is on life support, investigators said.

The sheriff’s office said a suspect is in custody. Officials have not identified that person or any of the victims.

Lincoln County detectives did not release any further information.
