Man dies when pickup truck hits pole and catches fire in Baker Co.

BAKER COUNTY, Fla. – A man died Monday night in Baker County when the white pickup truck he was driving skidded, rolled over, struck a “power pole” and caught fire, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to FHP, the accident occurred at 11 p.m. and the driver has yet to be identified as he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was driving north on County Road 125 (Crews Road) when the truck left the road “for unknown reasons,” according to the FHP accident report.
