Kidnapping suspect arrested near Point of the Mountain

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Highway Patrol said a kidnapping suspect was arrested near Point of the Mountain on Saturday evening.

According to UHP, a felon was stopped on Interstate 15 near mile marker 285.

The investigation has been turned over to the West Valley Police Department.
