ATCEMS: 1 dead after vehicle rescue on FM 969

AUSTIN (KXAN) — One person is dead following a vehicle rescue on Farm-to-Market Road 969 Saturday, Austin-Travis County EMS said on social media.

At approximately 5 p.m., ATCEMS paramedics responded to vehicle rescue in the area of ​​10100-10500 FM 969 near Imperial Drive. Paramedics reported there were three patients in total.

Paramedics pronounced one person dead at the scene. Another person had serious injuries and the last person’s injuries “were not life-threatening.” Both people were transported to Dell Seton.

Motorists should expect lengthy road closures while police continue their investigation. No further details were released Saturday.
