Wisconsin woman injured in motorcycle crash in Olmsted County | Local

DOVER TOWNSHIP, Minnesota – A passenger fell from a motorcycle in Olmsted County on Wednesday and had to be taken to the hospital.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, it happened around 12:17 p.m. on Interstate 90 near mile marker 228. A 2016 Can Am Spyder three-wheel roadster was traveling west when driver James E. Gierok, 58, of Whitehall, Wisconsin, lost control. According to the State Patrol, this caused passenger Angela Elizabeth Gierok, 56, of Whitehall, Wisconsin, to fall from the motorcycle.

Angela Gierok suffered injuries described as non-life-threatening and was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. James Gierok was not injured. The State Patrol says both were wearing helmets.
