Atlanta Falcons sign Brahmas DL Prince Emili

The San Antonio Brahmas are going to see many of their athletes move on to NFL opportunities. DT Prince Emili signs with the Atlanta Falcons, after an impressive and successful season in the UFL.

Prince Emili joined the San Antonio Brahmas as an off-season addition this year. He came to the UFL with some NFL experience, having played with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints. Prince totaled three tackles with Buffalo in 2022.

This year in the UFL, Emili was a key piece in a strong San Antonio pass rush that led the league in sacks during the regular season. Prince had 21 tackles, two TFLs and three sacks this year for the Brahmas.

Additionally, he had an outstanding playoff game against the St. Louis Battlehawks, making five tackles, two sacks and two TFLs en route to a playoff victory.

Prince Emili finished the UFL season with a positive defensive rating of 67.9, via PFF. His strongest category was passer, with a 71.1 rating in 2024.

He will now sign with the Atlanta Falcons, who are no stranger to spring football athletes. Last year, Atlanta signed teammate Delontae Scott, a compatriot of Brahma. They also brought in Caeveon Patton, who was a Brahma this year (and played for the XFL’s Guardians in 2023).

Without the national platform that the UFL gave Emili, who knows if this opportunity would have been possible. You can stay up to date on all UFL to NFL signings with our official tracker.
