Man pleads guilty to raping woman in Costa Mesa

A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty and was immediately sentenced to 19 years in prison for raping a woman in a Costa Mesa motel last year, according to court documents obtained Wednesday.

Darion Darmaine Williams pleaded guilty on Tuesday to individual charges: forcible oral sex, rape, robbery, kidnapping, assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury and resisting justice – all felony charges.

Williams accepted a plea deal with Orange County Superior Court Judge Kazuharu Makino, who gave the defendant credit for 202 days of pretrial confinement and ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
