TONIGHT AND THIS WEEKEND:

It will be beautiful outside tonight. Temperatures will be below 21 degrees again, to just under 15 degrees, and even to 10 degrees in the morning. The lowest temperature in Nashville will be 16 degrees.

Saturday will start off cool, with clouds moving in quickly. It will be alternating cloudy and sunny throughout the day, with a 30% chance of a light shower or two. Most of the day will be dry, though. Rain chances are higher over southern Kentucky and further south of I-40.

Heavy rain showers will return late Saturday night, likely accompanied by a few thunderstorms. It shouldn’t rain in Nashville until about midnight or shortly after. If you’re attending the CMA Fest concert at Nissan Stadium on Saturday night, be sure to bring a poncho in case the rain starts a little earlier.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely at times on Sunday. There will be no rain all day. There will be wet and dry spells. With a 60% chance of rain, some areas will see no rain at all.

Rain showers will gradually taper off late Sunday, so the final CMA Fest concert in downtown Nashville on Sunday night will be dry. Low: 63.
