Suspect arrested in Linwood Avenue murder case

SHREVEPORT, Louisiana (KTAL/KMSS) – A man suspected of a fatal shooting outside a Shreveport gas station has been arrested, police said.

A press release from the SPD said 33-year-old Malcolm Morris was arrested in connection with the shooting in the 4300 block of Linwood Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers found a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as 41-year-old Billy Doyle of Keithville.

Morris was arrested early Wednesday morning.
