Local man faces 40 years in prison for child pornography and extortion – EUP News

Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit
The Task Force Against Children (ICAC) announces the arrest of 20-year-old Marquis Anthonie Harmon for child sexual abuse and extortion.

Harmon was arrested following an investigation that was launched when it became known that Harmon
Viewing files containing sexually abusive material for children on the Internet. A search of his apartment revealed
digital evidence is confiscated.

Harmon was charged with child sexual abuse and racketeering.

Harmon was arraigned in 91st District Court on Thursday, May 30.

If convicted, Harmon faces up to 20 years in prison for child sexual abuse and 20 years in prison for racketeering.
