Motorcycle accident with injured person – WHIZ

Muskingum Co. – A Hopewell man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.

According to the State Highway Patrol’s Zanesville Post, the accident occurred before 10 p.m. Saturday night.

The patrol said 32-year-old Brandon Kimble was traveling southbound on County Road 8 when he veered left off center and into the path of a northbound vehicle.

The second vehicle was driven by 40-year-old Marcus Cook of Zanesville.

According to Patrolman Jeff Jirles, Kimble was flown from the scene of the accident to Grant Medical Center by Med-Flight. Cook was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
